Sidney Crosby spending Game 4 on Penguins' sidelines with a concussion

Pittsburgh Penguins center Sidney Crosby has been diagnosed with a concussion and he won't play in Game 4 Wednesday night against the Washington Capitals.

What It Means:

"We will evaluate him from there," said head coach Mike Sullivan. "We're very optimistic and hopeful we'll have him back in a timely fashion," he added. It's good to hear a positive outlook, but Crosby's concussion history provides plenty of cause for concern.

Crosby has four goals and 11 points in eight games this postseason, good for third on the Penguins.
