Marc-Andre Fleury will start Saturday for Penguins in Game 2
Pittsburgh Penguins goalie Marc-Andre Fleury will play between the pipes in Game 2 on Saturday versus the Columbus Blue Jackets.
Fleury found out minutes prior to Game 1 that he would be starting, so he'll have a little more time to prepare for the second bout. He came through with the victory by making 31 saves on 32 shots in a 3-1 win over the Blue Jackets. Tristan Jarry will be the Penguins' backup goalie in Game 2 with Matt Murray (lower body) still unavailable.
During the season, Fleury went 18-10-7 with a 3.02 goals-against average and .909 save percentage. It was the worst campaign in a while for the 32-year-old veteran.
