Steven Stamkos (knee) remains out Tuesday for Tampa Bay
Tampa Bay Lightning center Steven Stamkos (knee) will remain on the sidelines Tuesday night as his team fights for their playoff lives against the Boston Bruins.
What It Means:
The Lightning have four games left on the schedule this season, but a loss to Boston tonight would essentially eliminate Tampa Bay from playoff contention. Head coach Jon Cooper wouldn't say whether Stamkos will be available for the team's upcoming three-game road trip.
Stamkos tallied nine goals and 20 points in 17 contests this season prior to going down with the injury. He does own a pair of career-highs with a 56.7 Corsi For Percentage and 9.1 Relative Corsi For Percentage at Even Strength.
