The Detroit Red Wings are starting Jimmy Howard in goal on Tuesday versus the Carolina Hurricanes.
Howard has been brilliant since returning from a knee injury on March 10. In his last five starts, he owns a 4-1-0 record with a .936 save percentage and a 1.78 goals-against average. Howard will look to keep the good times rolling as he faces off with the NHL's 19th-ranked offense in the Hurricanes, who score just 2.62 goals per game.
numberFire's models project Howard for 2.3 goals allowed, 26.5 saves and a 49.0 percent chance of winning on Tuesday.
