Eddie Lack manning post Thursday for Hurricanes
Carolina Hurricanes goalie Eddie Lack will start on Thursday night against the Minnesota Wild.
Lack takes over for Cam Ward, who has started the past four contests for Carolina. He's 3-5-2 in 11 appearances (10 starts) this season while recording a 2.97 goals-against average and and .886 save percentage -- both of which are career-worsts. Things won't be easy on Thursday versus the second-best offense in the NHL (3.26 goals per game).
The Hurricanes are 22nd in numberFire's NHL Team Power Rankings while Minnesota checks in at second.
