Minnesota's Darcy Kuemper will man the crease in Florida
The Minnesota Wild are starting Darcy Kuemper in goal Friday versus the Florida Panthers.
Kuemper, the Wild's backup netminder, has played sparingly as of late. He made just three starts in the last five weeks, going 1-0-1 with a .896 save percentage and a 3.44 goals against average. He faces a Panthers squad who scores just 2.33 goals per game at home -- fourth-worst in the NHL.
Our models project Kuemper for a rough night with 2.7 goals allowed, 25.6 saves, and a 43.0% chance of winning.
