The Colorado Avalanche are starting Calvin Pickard in goals as they visit the Carolina Hurricanes on Friday.
After posting his second shutout of the year on February 7, Pickard has lost four consecutive starts while posting a .894 save percentage and a 3.32 goals-against average (GAA). The 24-year-old leads the NHL in losses (18) as he owns a 2.98 (GAA).
