Washington Capitals goalie Braden Holtby will start in goal on Thursday against the Detroit Red Wings.
Holtby was dominant in the Capitals' win over the Carolina Hurricanes on Tuesday, stopping all 23 shots he faced in the shutout. It marked his sixth win in a row and during that stretch he has a 1.83 goals-against average and a .930 save percentage.
