Pittsburgh Penguins goalie Matt Murray has been named the starter for Thursday night against the Boston Bruins.
Murray gave up three goals on 28 shots in a 3-0 loss to the St. Louis Blues on Tuesday, ending a three-game streak where he didn't allow more than one score. His record is a strong 17-5-1 on the season with a 2.35 goals-against-average and a .922 save percentage.
The Penguins are third in numberFire's NHL Team Power Rankings while the Bruins rank 16th and are in the bottom-third of the NHL with 2.45 goals per game.
