Panthers' Aleksander Barkov dealing with back injury
Florida Panthers center Aleksander Barkov is reportedly dealing with a back injury that will keep him out for at least the next two weeks.
What It Means:
There was a report last week that Barkov may not be able to return this season, but he's been doing some conditioning work and isn't expected to require surgery. He's been sidelined since December 28.
In nine games prior to injury, Barkov scored 27 points (9 goals, 18 assists) with career-highs in both Corsi For Percentage (57.2) and Relative Corsi For Percentage at Even Strength (6.7).
