Ottawa Senators goalie Mike Condon has been named the starter for Tuesday night's matchup with the Washington Capitals.
Condon was battered for seven goals on 29 shots in a 7-6 overtime loss to the Columbus Blue Jackets on Sunday, but he will receive a 14th consecutive starting nod tonight. Things won't be much easier versus a Capitals team averaging 3.28 goals per game this season (tied for fourth-best in the NHL). On the year, Condon is 13-7-4 with a .914 save percentage and 2.48 goals-against average.
numberFire's algorithms give Condon a 39.0 percent chance of winning on Tuesday night while projecting him to allow 2.5 goals and stop 25.8 shots. He's our 14th-ranked fantasy option for the 10-game slate.
