Los Angeles Kings goalie Jonathan Quick will not be available to return from a groin injury until the beginning of March at the earliest, according to general manager Dean Lombardi.
King was tentatively set to return by mid-February, but that no longer seems to be a realistic possibility. He suffered the injury during the season opener and still hasn't resumed skating in any form.
The Kings have recorded a .904 save percentage (tied for 21st in the NHL) while allowing 2.49 goals per game (7th) this season.
