Braden Holtby draws the call for Capitals' matchup with Montreal

Washington Capitals goalie Braden Holtby will man the post on Monday night against the Montreal Canadiens.

What It Means:

Holtby picked up his fifth shutout of the season on Saturday, tying him with Devan Dubnyk and Tuukka Rask for most in the NHL. His .931 save percentage and 1.93 goals-against average are also both in the top-three for the year. Tonight is a tougher draw, however, as the Canadiens rank fifth in the league with 3.08 goals for per game.

Holtby is numberFire's second-worst ranked goalie for Monday's short four-game slate. Our models project him for 23.4 saves, 2.4 goals against and a 47.0 percent chance of scoring a win.
