Florida Panthers goalie Roberto Luongo has been named the starter for Monday night's contest against the New Jersey Devils.
Luongo has lost three straight, bringing his record to 11-10-5 with a .919 save percentage and 2.48 goals-against average. He missed the past two contests with an upper-body injury, but returns tonight against a Devils squad that ranks a lowly 27th in the NHL in scoring (2.24 goals per game).
Luongo is numberFire's top-ranked goalie on Monday night. We project him to allow 2.1 goals on 27.8 shot attempts with a 54.0 percent chance of defeating the Devils.
