Carolina Hurricanes goalie Cam Ward has been named Wednesday's starter versus the Anaheim Ducks.
Ward snapped a four-game losing streak on Sunday with an impressive 30-save shutout against the Tampa Bay Lightning. He enters tonight's matchup with an 8-7-4 record while posting a 2.09 goals-against average, .924 save percentage and two shutouts this season.
