Islanders placing Jaroslav Halak between the pipes
New York Islanders goalie Jaroslav Halak will draw the start Tuesday night versus the New York Rangers.
In his previous outing against the Rangers this season, Halak surrendered four goals on 38 attempts in a 5-3 loss. He's 4-6-5 on the season with a 2.93 goals-against average and .914 save percentage. The Rangers are pacing the rest of the league in scoring with 3.65 goals per game.
Our models give Halak a decent 46.0 percent chance of picking up the win, but he's not a recommended DFS play for Tuesday's nine-game slate. We project him to allow 2.7 goals on 28.2 attempts versus the Rangers.
