Dallas Stars goalie Kari Lehtonen is expected to start on Thursday night versus the Colorado Avalanche.
Lehtonen was stung for five goals on 30 shots in a loss to the Vancouver Canucks on Sunday. This will be his first start of the season versus Vancouver, but he did make 12 saves on 13 shots against them during a relief effort back on October 15. Lehtonen is 3-4-3 with current career-lows in save percentage (.891) and goals-against average (3.18).
Our models give Lehtonen a 53.0 percent chance of winning tonight, but rank him as only the 17th goalie for fantasy purposes. We project the netminder to give up 2.64 goals on 26.17 shot attempts.
