Jaroslav Halak gets the green light for Islanders' Thursday night road game
New York Islanders goaltender Jaroslav Halak will get the nod between the pipes for Thursday's game against the Detroit Red Wings.
Halak hasn't scored a win in his last four games, and is 3-3-2 through eight starts this season. he is sporting a rough .908 save percentage and is on pace for his worst goals-against average (2.82) since the 2008-2009 season.
While we have the Islanders as slight favorites, with a 51.0 percent chance of winning this one, Halak is only our 13th-ranked fantasy goalie on today's slate. We project him for 27.11 saves and 2.80 goals against.
