Mike Condon picks up a shutout in Senators debut
Ottawa Senators goalie Mike Condon stuffed all 27 shots he faced in Thursday's 1-0 win over the Vancouver Canucks.
It was Condon's first start in Ottawa's net after being acquired on Wednesday. He's the team's top option with Andrew Hammond (groin) and Craig Anderson (personal) both unavailable.
Condon has saved all 34 shot attempts he's seen this season for both the Senators and Pittsburgh Penguins. Our models currently project the 26-year-old to record a 2.71 goals against average and .900 save percentage over the rest of the season.
