Michal Neuvirth draws the unexpected start for Flyers in season opener
Philadelphia Flyers goalie Michal Neuvirth will be the starter in Friday's opening game versus the Los Angeles Kings.

Steve Mason was expected to have the advantage on net duties for Philadelphia, but Neuvirth is getting the call on Friday. The two should both see plenty of time between the pipes for the Flyers this season, though, as Mason has already been tagged for Saturday's start.
