Penguins claim Mike Condon off waivers
The Pittsburgh Penguins have claimed goaltender Mike Condon off waivers from the Montreal Canadiens.
What It Means:
Condon will give the Penguins some depth behind Marc-Andre Fleury as Matt Murray will be sidelined with a broken hand to start the season.
Condon is coming off of a rough rookie season with Montreal last year. His .903 save percentage ranked 61st among the 68 goalies to start at least 10 games, while his 2.71 Goals Against Average ranked 46th.
