Capitals ink Zach Sanford to entry-level contract
The Washington Capitals have signed winger Zach Sanford to a three-year, entry-level contract.
Washington selected Sanford with the 61st overall pick in the 2013 National Hockey League Entry Draft. He tallied 39 points (13 goals, 26 assists) in 41 games with the Boston College Eagles last season and will turn 22 in November.
The Capitals finished the season as the top-ranked team in the league, according to numberFire's Team Power Rankings.
