Jason Demers signs five-year deal with Panters
Defenseman Jason Demers has reportedly agreed to a five-year, $22.5 million deal with the Florida Panthers.
What It Means:
Demers reportedly took less money to go to Florida than other teams were offering. He had seven goals, 23 points, and 72 penalty minutes in 62 games with the Dallas Stars in 2015-16.
Demers had a 54.1 Corsi For Percentage in 2015-'16 and a 1.4 Relative Corsi For Percentage last year. He had 23 points and 16 assists in 62 games played.
