Dallas adds Dan Hamhuis for $7.5 million over two years
The Dallas Stars have agreed to terms with defenseman Dan Hamhuis on a $7.5 million, two-year contract.
What It Means:
This contract carries an annual average value of $3.75 million. Hamhuis, 33 years-old, tallied just 13 points (3 goals, 10 assists) in 58 games played.
The 13 points were the fewest in his 12 year career, and the lowest since he recorded 20 points during the 2006-07 season. Hamhuis was solid at driving possession, however, posting a Corsi For Percentage of 50.2 and a Relative Corsi For Percentage at Even Strength of 2.8.
