San Jose's James Reimer expected to test free agency
San Jose Sharks goalie James Reimer is expected to test free agency on July 1.
What It Means:
San Jose acquired Reimer at the trade deadline, rescuing him from the Toronto Maple Leafs. Reimer served as Martin Jones' backup as the Sharks made a run to the finals.
In 40 appearances last year, the 28-year-old Reimer turned in a 2.31 goals against average and .922 save percentage. He shouldn't have trouble finding a role as someone's top goalie.
