The Anaheim Ducks will hire Randy Carlyle as their coach, TSN's Darren Dreger is reporting.
The announcement will be made Tuesday, according to Dreger. Carlyle coached the Ducks from 2005-2011. After being fired by Anaheim, he was the head man for the Toronto Maple Leafs. Anaheim won the Stanley Cup under Carlyle in 2007.
Anaheim ranked ninth in our NHL Team Power Rankings, but the Ducks suffered another early exit from the postseason.
