Sharks' Tomas Hertl out for the rest of playoffs
San Jose Sharks forward Tomas Hertl did not play Monday night and is out for the rest of the Stanley Cup Finals because of a knee injury, according to a source.
What It Means:
Hertl is a key player for the Sharks. He scored six goals and contributed 11 points in 20 playoff games before having to sit out Game 3 of the finals on Saturday night.
Hertl tallied the most points of his career in the regular season, recording 46 points (21 goals, 25 assists) in 81 games played. He was excellent at driving possession, as well, posting a Corsi For Percentage of 56.1 and a Relative Corsi For Percentage at Even Strength of 3.3.
