There was some initial speculation about whether or not Bonino would even be available for Game 1 after he seemed to be hurt when he blocked a shot in Game 7. That led to him missing a couple practices, but it ultimately didn't slow him down. He now has four goals and 16 points in 19 playoff contests. Bryan Rust and Conor Sheary netted the Penguins' other two goals. Sidney Crosby, Chris Kunitz, Kris Letang, Carl Hagelin, Justin Schultz and Olli Maatta each registered an assist in the win.
