Shea Weber OUT

Shea Weber leads Predators to Game 3 win with a two-point night

Nashville Predators defenseman Shea Weber scored a goal and added an assist in Nashville's Game 3 win over the San Jose Sharks on Tuesday.

What It Means:

Weber was dominant at both ends of the ice and logged 24:02 of ice time. Everyone was calling for him to step up after going pointless and having a minus-2 rating through the first two games of the series. He has seven points in 10 playoffs games this year and was credited with the game-winner. Filip Forsberg, James Neal and Colin Wilson scored the other goals, and the Predators converted twice on the power play.

Weber, 30, netted 20 goals with 31 assists in the regular season. His 51.6 Corsi For Percentage was his best mark since the 2009-'10 season while -2.3 Relative Corsi For Percentage at Even Strength was the second-lowest clip of his career.
