Minnesota open to dealing Darcy Kuemper
Minnesota Wild goalie Darcy Kuemper may be dealt this offseason, with Wild general manager Chuck Fletcher saying he is open to trading Kuemper.
"I think it would behoove us to look around and see what value we could find in him," said Fletcher. "If there's a deal that makes sense for us and allows him to get a better opportunity, I think that would be good for both of us. But I also have no problem bringing him back."
With Devan Dubnyk locked up for the next four years, it makes sense that the Wild would explore their options with Kuemper, who is 25 years old. Kuemper went 6-7-5 with a 2.43 goals against average and .915 save percentage.
