NHL hands Flyers' Brayden Schenn a three-game suspension
Philadelphia Flyers winger Brayden Schenn has been suspended for three games for charging the Washington Capitals' T.J. Oshie.
The incident occurred in Game 6 last Sunday. Oshie was able to return to the game, and Schenn wasn't penalized on the hit. Schenn will start serving his suspension when the 2016-'17 regular season begins.
Schenn scored 26 goals and 33 assists this season, while recording a plus/minus of plus-3. He has struggled with his possession metrics for a majority of his career, but both his 50.9 Corsi For Percentage and 0.2 Relative Corsi For Percentage at Even Strength were well above his career averages.
