Florida's Jaromir Jagr dishes out assist for 200th playoff point

Florida Panthers winger Jaromir Jagr picked up his first postseason point of the season in Wednesday's 2-1 win over the New York Islanders.

What It Means:

He had the primary helper on a power-play goal by Teddy Purcell, which opened the scoring in the second period. The 44-year-old veteran didn't hit the scoresheet in the previous three games of the series. Jagr's assist gave him 200 playoff points in 206 games, but he still has a 35-game goal drought with which to deal.

Amazingly, Jagr put up solid numbers in his age-44 season. He finished with 27 goals and 39 helpers. His 51.2 Corsi For Percentage and 2.8 Relative Corsi For Percentage at Even Strength were both in line with his career averages.
