Vincent Trocheck out for Panthers Wednesday, may play in Game 5
Florida Panthers center Vincent Trocheck (foot) won't return for Game 4 on Wednesday night.
However, he is getting close and could be ready to play in Game 5 Friday. "He's on schedule, is doing well, but he's not playing [Wednesday]," Panthers' coach Gerard Gallant said. "The near future, that's possible." Trocheck has been sidelined since he blocked a shot on March 29 and broke a bone in his foot.
Trocheck, 22, has been a big part of the Panthers' success this season with 25 goals and 53 points in 76 contests. His 51.4 Corsi For Percentage and 1.6 Relative Corsi For Percentage at Even Strength are both career-low clips.
