New York Rangers captain and defenseman Ryan McDonagh will return for Game 3 against the Pittsburgh Penguins on Tuesday night.
He's expected to pair with Brady Skjei as Dylan McIlrath is scratched. McDonagh has 34 points in 81 career playoff games, including 26 points in 44 games over the last two seasons.
McDonagh has played well this season. He has a 0.2 Relative Corsi For Percentage at Even Strength, which ranks fourth among Rangers' defensemen. His 34 points this season -- nine goals, 25 assists -- are the second most of his career.
