Flyers' Sean Couturier (upper body) done for the first round
Philadelphia Flyers center Sean Couturier, who left Thursday's game with an upper-body injury, is done for at least the first round of the postseason.
What It Means:
Couturier suffered an AC sprain in his left shoulder. It's a big blow for the Flyers as Couturier is one of their best two-way players. He was injured after being crushed by Caps' forward Alex Ovechkin. The only way Couturier will return this season is if the Flyers find a way to get by Washington. Philadelphia trails the best-of-seven series 1-0.
Couturier posted career-best possession numbers this season, finishing with a 52.4 Corsi For Percentage and 1.7 Relative Corsi For Percentage at Even Strength. He netted 11 goals and passed out a career-high 28 assists this season.
