Andrew Ladd

Chicago's Andrew Ladd (personal) might miss Game 1

Chicago Blackhawks winger Andrew Ladd is in Chicago with his wife to be there for the birth of their child.

What It Means:

Meanwhile the Blackhawks are set to play the St. Louis Blues in Game 1 at 9:30 p.m. ET. In the regular season, Ladd would almost certainly be ruled out for that game, but because it's the playoffs the door is still open to him traveling to St. Louis in time for the start of the contest. With that in mind, he's being called a game-time decision.

Ladd began the season with the Winnipeg Jets and was traded to Chicago at the deadline. He tallied 12 points (8 goals, 4 assists) in 19 games with the Blackhawks and finished the regular season with 46 points (25 goals, 21 assists) in 78 games played. He was decent at driving possession with the Jets, posting a 52.0 Corsi For Percentage and a 0.5 Relative Corsi For at Even Strength, but both totals fell since coming to Chicago (49.2 and -0.2 respectively).
