Ryan McDonagh will not start in Rangers' first-round series

New York Rangers defenseman Ryan McDonagh will "definitely not start" New York's first-round series against the Pittsburgh Penguins.

What It Means:

New York coach Alain Vigneault delivered the news following Monday's practice. He said McDonagh is listed as day-to-day with an "upper-body injury." It's been reported he suffered a broken hand when he blocked a shot last Monday.
