Michael Raffl tallies three points in Flyers' win

Philadelphia Flyers winger Michael Raffl scored a goal and added two assists in Sunday's 5-2 win over the New York Islanders.

What It Means:

Raffl isn't known for his offensive ability, but with regulars Claude Giroux, Wayne Simmonds and Sean Couturier being rested in a meaningless game, he was the one to step up. Raffl scored the game-winning goal in the second period, and he picked up assists on third-period goals by Scott Laughton and R.J. Umberger.

Raffl finishes the season with 13 goals and 18 assists. He owns a 53.9 Corsi For Percentage and 3.5 Relative Corsi For Percentage at Even Strength, both of which are down from his 2014-'15 numbers. The Flyers will open the 2016 Stanley Cup Playoffs against the Washington Capitals.
