Blackhawks get a four-point outing from Artemi Panarin
Chicago Blackhawks winger Artemi Panarin became just the second NHL rookie since 1993-'94 to register three or more points in a game at least nine times as he totaled four points (three assists and a goal) in Sunday's 6-4 win over the Boston Bruins.
The other player to do it: Sidney Crosby (11). That's pretty heady company. Panarin is the odds-on-favourite to win the Calder Trophy as the NHL's top first-year player, and his play has helped linemate Patrick Kane take his game to another level.
Panarin has scored 28 goals and dished out 44 assists this season. He is sporting a 53.3 Corsi For Percentage and 3.0 Relative Corsi For Percentage at Even Strength.
