Dallas Stars goalie Antti Niemi was sharp on Thursday night, blocking 31 of 32 shots to help Dallas beat the Arizona Coyotes, 4-1.

Niemi's play isn't only helping his team lock up good playoff positioning, it's making his case to be the starter once the playoffs begin.
In 41 starts this season, Niemi is 24-12-7 with a 2.70 goals against average and .904 save percentage. Kari Lehtonen, on the other hand, has a .906 save percentage and 2.81 goals against average.
