Cam Talbot a tough-luck loser for Edmonton
Edmonton Oilers goalie Cam Talbot made 23 saves in the Oilers’ 2-1 loss to the Anaheim Ducks on Monday.
What It Means:
Talbot is in the midst of a rough patch. Over his last six starts, he’s allowed 16 goals, but he’s been able to come away victorious three times in that span due in large part to Edmonton’s offense.
With the loss, Talbot's record drops to 20-26-4 with a 2.51 goals against average and .918 save percentage in 53 games played this season. He has three wins in his past five starts. Talbot had a .920 save percentage in the game.
