Tyler Bozak

Toronto's Tyler Bozak scores twice in triumphant return

Toronto Maple Leafs forward Tyler Bozak returned with a bang Thursday night, scoring a pair of goals in Toronto's 6-5 overtime win over the Anaheim Ducks.

What It Means:

He got the Leafs on the board after Jamie McGinn gave the Ducks a 1-0 lead. Bozak nearly completed the hat trick, but a great pad save by Frederik Andersen denied him of that. He finished with five shots in just 12:42 of ice time, but it was a successful first game back after being sidelined for 21 games with a concussion.

Our models project Bozak to record two more goals and two more assists this season. He owns a career-best 51.7 Corsi For Percentage and 0.3 Relative Corsi For Percentage at Even Strength.
