Carolina's Eddie Lack draws the start in matchup with Columbus

Carolina Hurricanes netminder Eddie Lack will be in goal for Thursday's road start at the Columbus Blue Jackets.

What It Means:

Lack allowed four goals on 48 shots in the Hurricanes' loss to the Pittsburgh Penguins on March 17. Cam Ward started the last two games, but Lack will go tonight in Columbus. Lack has gone 1-1-2 with a 2.70 goals against average and .921 save percentage in March, and tonight will mark his 28th start of the season. He will face a Blue Jackets team which has lost four of their last six.

We project him to allow 2.68 goals on 26.67 shots with a 45 percent chance of getting the win. On an 11-game night, Lack is our No. 17 goalie.
