Chad Johnson will be Buffalo's starting goalie against Carolina

Buffalo Sabres netminder Chad Johnson draws the start for Tuesday's road clash with the Carolina Hurricanes.

What It Means:

Johnson surrendered four goals on 31 shots in the Sabres' loss to the Toronto Maple Leafs on Saturday. It was a rough outing for Johnson, who was starting on back-to-back nights. Johnson is 3-1-0 with a 2.13 goals against average and .928 save percentage in March. The 29-year-old is 2-0-0 with a 1.44 goals against average and .948 save percentage in his first two meetings with Carolina this season.

On a packed 10-game night, Johnson is our third-ranked goalie. We project him to allow 2.32 goals on 29.33 shots with a 49 percent chance of recording the victory.
