Antti Raanta superb in spot start for Rangers
New York Rangers goalie Antti Raanta made 22 saves on 23 shots in a 2-1 win over the Anaheim Ducks on Wednesday.
It was another great spot start for Raanta, who has been stellar in relief this season. He has three wins in his last four starts and has improved his record to 9-5-2.
He's sporting a 2.37 goals against average and .915 save percentage in 20 appearances. The Rangers play at the Los Angeles Kings tonight. Look for first-stringer HEnrik Lundqvist to get the nod.
