Calgary's Dennis Wideman leaves with upper-body injury
Calgary Flames defenseman Dennis Wideman left Calgary's win over the Winnipeg Jets because of an upper-body injury.
"It doesn't look very good," Flames' coach Bob Hartley said. "The preliminary reports that we got from the medical staff are not very good, but he'll have some tests [Thursday] and we should have more news late [Thursday] or on Friday."
Prior to this news, we had Wideman projected for one goal and four assists over the final nine games, but it sounds like he may miss significant time. His -4.5 Relative Corsi For Percentage at Even Strength is the worst mark of his career while his 45.5 Corsi For Percentage is the second-worst clip of his career.
