Brad Marchand scores overtime winner for Boston
Boston Bruins forward Brad Marchand scored the game-winning goal in Tuesday's 1-0 win over the Tampa Bay Lightning.
Marchand ended the game just 10 seconds into the extra frame. Patrice Bergeron and Torey Krug picked up the assists on the game's only goal. Marchand has put up some incredible numbers this season. The 27-year-old has 34 goals and 54 points.
We project Marchand to net five more goals with five more assists over the remainder of the season. Typically a great driver of possession, he is sporting a superb 6.8 Relative Corsi For Percentage at Even Strength, which is the second-best mark of his career. His 53.7 Corsi For Percentage, however, is his worst clip since 2010-’11.
