Matt Duchene cracks 50-point plateau as Avalanche top Florida
Colorado Avalanche center Matt Duchene cracked the 50-point plateau for the third straight season -- and fifth overall in his career -- with his goal during Thursday's 3-2 win over the Florida Panthers.
The former third overall pick in 2009 also tied his career high of 27 goals in the process. Now in his seventh season, Duchene has posted 152 goals and 367 points over 484 games.
Our rest-of-season projections see Duchene scoring six more goals and dishing out seven more assists the rest of the way. His 2.5 Relative Corsi For Percentage at Even Strength is the second-best mark of his career while his 47.0 Corsi For Percentage is slightly below his 48.2 career average.
