Grubauer, providing a respite to workhorse first-stringer Braden Holtby, improved his record on the season to 7-5-1. This was his first start since February 16.
His goals against average is 2.10, and his save percentage is .926. Grubauer will likely get the start again for Washington on Saturday against the Boston Bruins as the Capitals are looking to get some rest for Holtby.
