Mark Scheifele breaks out with four points in Jets' win
Winnipeg Jets center Mark Scheifele was the first Jet to pick up the slack after captain Andrew Ladd's trade on Thursday night, scoring a goal and adding three assists in a 6-3 win over the Dallas Stars.
What It Means:
Scheifele now has seven points in his past four games and 34 through 48 games this season. The 22-year-old has shown fine progression in his third season in the NHL.
We project Scheifele to tally another five goals and eight assists over the remainder of the campaign. He has been excellent at driving possession this season. Both his Corsi For Percentage (57.2) and Relative Corsi For Percentage at Even Strength (7.7) are career-best numbers.
